Our origins

Our history

Our company was born in 2013 as a result of previous experiences in the trading of precious leather.

The Ceo and founder Riccardo Colato had learned in his early youth how to grade hides quality through working in a family artisanal company which used any sort of precious and non precious leather.

As a teenager, Riccardo Colato spends two seasons in Louisiana working in an alligator farm and learning the very fundamental steps of the chain: from cleaning the pens to feeding and selecting the livestock to be processed. Furthermore, participating to the egg collection, a very important ritual for our world.

This solid working experience granted a tight human boundary with the industry participants which is still nowadays the base of our company.
